Tesco recently launched a new product called the Go Cook Rocker Garlic Press. They have simply purchased this garlic press from AliExpress and have put some cardboard packaging on it. They then sell it to you for an eye watering £3.
So do yourself a favour and buy it from the source instead on AliExpress and get it delivered to your door. All for 50p
Garlic press’ are very good at squishing the garlic into main little pieces without having to use a knife. So get yours from my link and and I’ll receive a commission for the knowledge sharing.
Tesco is doing this a lot with their kitchenware range. The products are imported off of Temu or AliExpress and they just repackage them. I reckon that this line or products in the future will be axed and the supermarket range will reduced in this area. The products that are mainly made out of metal, wood, plastic, glass, ceramic, basically in-edibles will not have a place in future supermarkets. The world is changing and china possesses all the cards in this area. People are not silly and will go to the source if people market china better. Temu and AliExpress are king in my opinion and will always provide the best service and quality of products that you’ll find anywhere in retail outlets across the world. People say china is poor quality and the stuff off of Temu breaks. But everything that you don’t eat is made in china unfortunately, whether you like it or not, even the high quality branded stuff like apple iPhones.
My advice, don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. The supermarkets in the uk and grocery stores in the USA are changing and need to keep up with the times. Nobody shops for kitchenware in bricks and mortar anymore. Even eBay and Amazon are having difficulty competing with aliexpress, Temu and SHEIN. As again eBay sellers are just buying off of Temu and reselling at an extortionate price. If you can buy a few items off Temu (£8) to get free shipping, it’s much more worth it!
